Thursday we started at Animal Kingdom. We went a little earlier than our friends and had breakfast at Satuli Canteen. I had heard that this was a delicious breakfast and they were correct! I went ahead and ordered three of the four items.

The Beef and Frittata: The beef was the star of the whole breakfast. Honestly. It’s a wood fired beef in a chimichurri sauce and it’s incredibly delicious. The chimichurri is fresh and the beef was cooked to perfection. It cam with a little salad on the side which was dismal, although it did look good on the plate. The frittata tasted like it had been sitting their for a while, and it was kind of rubbery. The flavor was good, so I had a bite or two, but the texture was horrid.

The cinnamon french toast was also delicious. It tasted like a cinnamon roll in french toast form! It was light and fluffy, but also dense is all the best ways. The Blueberry cream cheese was delicious as was the passion fruit angaliase! There just wasn’t enough of it! We went looking for syrup when we ran out, but we couldn’t find any. They may ave had some if we went and asked, but we didn’t. We only looked at the drinks and condiments station. Maybe next time. Because of that we abandoned the dish about 3/4 of the way through.

The Tropical Pandoran Forest Fruit was a surprise hit. I got it so we could have some fresh fruit, but it was delicious. The one I got wasn’t yogurt though, it was more like a yogurt mixed with oats to be more like an overnight oats situation. And i was glad for it. The Muesli on top added a delicious crunch and the fruit was top notch! Really special for a theme park! Kiwi, strawberry and pineapple. It also came with a blueberry compote. I kept it all separate and loved each aspect of it.

We were so full after this! This was a hearty and rich breakfast! We met up with our friends after this and rode out ILL for Flight of passage. We really felt in character after just having eaten at Satu’li canteen! I can’t say enough how much I love this ride and how fun it is! Also, my water jet on my banshee was broken, and I wasn’t mad about it! Although it did detract a little from the experience, it wasn’t enough to move the needle on the ride.

After FOP we rode Everest again. This time I wasn’t nearly as nervous. During the backwards part, I just pressed my head against the head rest and went with it. At one point, it even felt like we were going forward! Then the huge drop and the rest of the super fun ride. I love the first and last third, but I will tolerate the backwards so I can ride with everyone else and enjoy the other 2/3 of the ride. A favorite now for sure!

We traded pins as we walked out and went to Epcot. It is so fun to see all of the topiaries! They are the most creative and amaziong!

Our friends got the poke bowl and they loved it. It was huge! Definitely the best value of the Fest! DD and I went to grab some more corn and strawberry basil lemonade. Just as delicious as the day before!

We all met up back at communicate hall and ate in the A/C again. This is the best hack of the fest, I think. There are three spots at the front of the park with ample seating at Epcot. Communicore Hall, The Odyssey, and Connections Eatery.

After we finished up our snacks we went over to Trowel and Trellis. Another amazing booth! The sticky ribs are delicious. I took the jalapeño off, but I loved the added texture of the peanuts! The first piece of the garden veggie flat bread was wonderful, but I hit a wall after that and couldn’t eat anymore. No one else wanted to try it, so i tossed it. The richness of the food I had been eating all day caught up to me!

We had a lightening lane for Soarin and this time the smells were working!! It really adds to the ride. I love all of those smells! We were in the land pavilion, so we rode Living with the Land next. Such a relaxing and informative ride. I love looking at and guessing all of the plants at the end of the ride! So fun!

By this time it was evening, and we had a LL for Test Track. We were excited this time to ride it at night in the dark! It does make it feel faster! We had a super fun single rider int he car with us that played along and posed with us in the photo! Love Disney people!

After this the park was closing and we walked out and our friends drove us home. DD and I already had enough snacks in the room, so we skipped garlic knots this evening. Another fun and amazing day! Looking forward to tomorrow and trying out a break in the middle of the day!
