Plan Disney World is a planning journal written by Vanessa Simpson, a lifelong Disney World regular who believes a well-planned trip is a better trip, and has the spreadsheets to prove it.

We are at Walt Disney World several times a year: family trips, girls trips, and the resort-only weekends that have quietly become our specialty. Every report on this site is written from a trip we actually took. The dining notes name the dishes we ordered. The itineraries are the ones we followed, or abandoned by mid-morning, and I tell you which. When something disappoints, it says so plainly; a recommendation only means something if you can trust the misses too.

What you’ll find here

  • Trip reports, written day by day, meal by meal.
  • Resort-only trips, the no-park-tickets weekend that skeptics doubt and converts never stop talking about.
  • Planning guides and free printable planners, built from the checklists and itineraries we refine trip after trip, on the Plan Your Trip page.
  • The dispatch, an email that goes out when a new report is published. One email per report, nothing else.

The fine print, honestly
