We have eaten our way across pretty much every corner of Walt Disney World at this point: Flower and Garden booths, resort quick service, sit down splurges, all of it. I do not believe in wasting a Disney snack on something mediocre, so here is every single dish I have actually eaten and given a real verdict on, ranked from can’t miss to skip it next time.

The Hall of Fame: Order This Every Time
The peach Dole Whip from Swirled Showcase was, in my own words, everything. Sweet, tangy, refreshing, and it beat the blueberry soft serve sitting right next to it. Full verdict in our Tax Day at Epcot post.

The Communicore Hall steak bowl was basically the best steak I have ever eaten, made in bulk at a theme park no less. Same Flower and Garden day.
The roast chicken at Artist’s Palette in Saratoga Springs was, without exaggeration, the best chicken I have ever had. Moist all the way through, even the breast meat. Story in our spring trip arrival post.
The Sanaa breakfast platter and banana bread French toast came with giraffes wandering past the window, and I said I would do it again at 100 percent. From our Sunday and Monday resort food post.
The Avocado Breakfast Bowl from the resort food court, tater tots under scrambled eggs, avocado, black beans, salsa, and cheese, is my personal favorite breakfast on property. Details in our Tuesday and Wednesday food post.
Mickey beignets at Port Orleans did not even need the caramel dipping sauce, they were that good on their own. Same Sunday and Monday food post.
The grilled steak with chimichurri at Food and Wine was cooked right in front of me and it was pure perfection. From our flight booked post.
The Greek salad, no chicken, from the All Stars food court earned a full “I would 100 percent get this again and again.” Also in the Sunday and Monday food recap.
Also Really Good
The cucumber watermelon slushy at Epcot tasted like actual cucumber and actual watermelon, and it was gone in three minutes. From wednesday-april-15th.
The potatoes at Grand Floridian Cafe were the actual highlight of an already great dinner: perfectly crisp, perfectly salted. From the Sunday and Monday food post.
The Whispering Canyon skillet got eaten down to almost nothing, which says plenty about a breakfast that big. Read more in our Tuesday and Wednesday food post.
The chip and dip trio at Yacht Grub was all rich and delicious, but the homemade chips genuinely stole the show. From wednesday-april-15th.
The Tropical Serenade at Aloha Isle got an “oh my goodness” the moment we tried it as an alternative to our usual coconut Dole Whip. From our spring trip post.
Cake Bake Shop’s chicken velvet soup and tea won us over on two separate trips, once at the Boardwalk location in disney-girls-trip-day-two-tuesday and again at their afternoon tea in our resort-only Tuesday food post.
The France pavilion lunch at Les Halles, from the Dinde BLT to the tarte aux fraises, was way better than the La Madeleine’s back home. From disney-girls-trip-day-two-wednesday.
The Kona Cafe ham and cheese omelet, ordered to go and eaten at Captain Cook’s, was called out as flat out perfect. Also from disney-girls-trip-day-two-wednesday.
The peach cobbler with cinnamon gelato closed out a big Flower and Garden day with what I called pure perfection. From wednesday-april-15th.
Mixed Bag: Your Mileage May Vary
Satuli Canteen’s breakfast was half a win and half a letdown. The wood fired beef and chimichurri was the true star, but the frittata sitting next to it was rubbery. From our last Animal Kingdom day post.
Germany’s pretzel bread pudding left the jury out. Salty, a little sweet, definitely not a dessert I would use as my one snack around World Showcase. From disney-girls-trip-day-two-wednesday.
The Earl of Sandwich Thanksgiving Sandwich was good for about two bites, then just too much. Slimy lunch meat turkey and cornbread stuffing instead of what I was picturing. From our Tuesday and Wednesday food post.
The Buffalo pizza at Contempo Cafe happened because I misread the menu and expected BBQ. It was straight hot sauce, chicken, and cheese, and too spicy for us to eat as a full meal. From wednesday-april-15th.
The pecan bacon caramel cinnamon roll in Frontierland sounded exciting and turned out to have almost no flavor at all, despite a genuinely delicious caramel sauce. From our girls trip day four post.
Garlic knots and yogurt, our go to late night snack combo at El Mercado de Coronado, is a weird pairing that I have stopped questioning. From our spring trip post.
The pineapple cupcake at the Poly was good, nothing spectacular, with a filling I loved more than the icing. From our travel day post.
The Skip List
The grilled chicken on my mom’s Greek salad at the All Stars food court was dry and inedible. A total miss, straight from the Sunday and Monday food post.
The risotto at Communicore Hall was fine, but I could not have cared less about it once the steak bowl was sitting right there. From wednesday-april-15th.
The chocolate filled cronut at Contempo Cafe paired dark chocolate icing with cinnamon sugar in a way that just did not work, even though it was still a sweet way to end the meal. Also from wednesday-april-15th.
The Real Takeaway
Half the fun of Disney snacking is trying the thing you are not sure about. The other half is knowing when to stop, wrap it up, and save room for the next line you are standing in. Either way, you need somewhere to put it all.
